heartworm is my bendy au which is, well- basically canon with my oc/sona inserted into it! I came up with it after wondering what would happen if I existed in that universe. I called the au 'heartworm' inspired by this definition of the word

Yuu is me, but mainly my flaws. She's the part of myself I dislike, yet I care for her (even though I put her through hell constantly lol).

She unconditionally cares for Bendy/The Ink Demon regardless of how he treats her. regardless whether or not he reciprocates her feelings, she eventually becomes obsessed with being worthy of his love, becoming the worst version of herself. Her jealousy consumes her as she resents anyone who tries to earn his trust.

Joey started calling her 'Yuu' because of the pun opportunities, and she adopted it. I thought it would be funny to have Joey repeatedly fire and re-hire her.











to get away from home, she lied about her age to become a military nurse at 16. She discharged a year later after being ratted out. She needed a job and found a secretary job opening at JDS in the paper. She applied due to her childhood history and connection with their cartoons and because she works well with her hands. She was accepted on the spot, much to her surprise.

She felt like the studio hated her since her first day. real distain began to grow as Joey began to groom and get closer with her, seeing her as being on 'his side'. The only employee she found comfort in is Jane. She enjoyed listening to her ideas. Both her and Joey share a temper. She's been fired several times, but is kept around due to how easily Joey can manipulate and mold her due to her love for Bendy and her deep insecurity. She's incentivized to stay for both her wage and the 'free housing' she receives in the artists rest.

However, she knew how to stay quiet and picked up on some of the studios Shady business rather quickly. Saw Joey as a rocky father figure before finding the Ink Demon chained up. A big fight began between her and Joey before she was mauled by the Ink Demon and Joey fled the room, locking the two of them inside for 24 hours as he continued his studio tours.

It took a very long time for her to gain the Ink Demon's trust due to her relationship/connection to Joey. She began to hate him but still worked alongside him as his secretary in order to try and help the Ink Demon, carefully walking along the thin line it took for Joey to 'get rid' of her. She was mauled by him over and over and eventually began to (literally) stitch herself together. She let herself become his chew toy, basically. the severity of her injuries worsened and she made the mistake of using the ink machine to try and repair herself, breaking her jaw in the process. She finally managed to gain the Ink Demon's trust after destroying herself. She lost the ability to speak, and the Ink Demon began to share some of his 'meals' with her, although she struggles to eat.
